Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Access Specialist (remote).

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the first point of contact for patients, assisting with scheduling, pre-registration, and registration
  • Provide outstanding customer service in a high-volume call center environment
  • Help patients navigate their healthcare journey effectively
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
  • High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree in a related field preferred
  • 1-2 years of general clerical, customer service, or medical experience required, preferably in healthcare
  • Prior call center experience or high-volume patient contact preferred
  • Epic and HFMA certifications are preferred
  • Basic knowledge of Arizona Medicaid programs and federal/state regulations related to billing and collections is desired
