Job Summary
A company is looking for a RCM Patient Experience Specialist to support revenue cycle operations in cardiology practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert support to practice partners regarding billing, insurance, payments, and account statuses through various communication channels
- Process credit-card payments, establish payment plans, and manage patient financial policies to ensure compliance
- Monitor and maintain RCM key performance indicators to enhance patient experience and financial performance
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in customer service, specifically in healthcare insurance
- Experience with Athena Health EMR is strongly preferred
- Knowledge of medical billing, front office operations, and healthcare business processes
- Competency in medical billing/coding and understanding of various insurance carriers
