Pennsylvania Licensed Referral Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote Referral Specialist (Master's Degree or RN).

Key Responsibilities

• Process inquiry and referral calls in a timely manner
• Serve as a liaison to referral sources, physicians, and hospital personnel
• Enter call data into the facility's database and manage e-fax applications for referrals

Required Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field, or RN with Behavioral Healthcare/Substance Use experience
• Active nursing license in Pennsylvania required if candidate is a nurse
• 1-2 years of experience in substance abuse/psychiatric treatment programs preferred
• Experience in intake/admissions and managed care is preferred
