Job Summary
The SaaS Sales Development Representative (SDR) will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential clients in the GCC region. The SDR plays a critical role in building our sales pipeline and establishing strong relationships with prospective customers by understanding their needs and effectively positioning our solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prospecting & Lead Generation
- Identify and research potential clients in target industries (e.g., finance, healthcare, logistics, retail) across GCC markets.
- Use LinkedIn, CRM tools, cold calling, emails, and events to generate leads.
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on defined ICP (Ideal Customer Profile) criteria.
2. Market Development
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the SaaS market landscape in the GCC.
- Monitor competitor activity and industry trends specific to GCC countries.
- Collaborate with marketing to localize campaigns and tailor messaging for GCC prospects.
3. Relationship Building
- Engage C-level executives, IT managers, and business decision-makers in discovery conversations.
- Educate potential clients on the benefits and ROI of the SaaS solution.
- Nurture early-stage opportunities to ensure a smooth handoff to Account Executives.
4. Pipeline Management & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of interactions in the CRM (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
- Report on KPIs like outreach volume, conversion rate, and meetings set.
- Actively participate in sales team meetings and share market feedback
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, preferably within the GCC.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales automation platforms.
Skills
- Native or fluent English speaker; excellent communication (verbal and written).
- Strong interpersonal skills with a persuasive, confident approach.
- Ability to quickly learn and explain technical SaaS products.
- Organized, goal-oriented, and comfortable working with KPIs.
- Experience working with multinational clients or across multiple GCC countries.
