Provider Enrollment Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Provider Enrollment Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and resolve payer enrollment issues, including follow-up with CMS and other payers
• Manage completion and submission of CMS Medicare, State Medicaid, and third-party payer applications
• Maintain documentation and reporting regarding payer enrollments and ensure provider numbers are established

Required Qualifications and Education

• Associate's degree (2 years) required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
• At least one (1) year of provider enrollment experience preferred
• Working knowledge of application requirements for CMS, State Medicaid, and third-party payers
• Understanding of HIPAA Privacy & Security policies and procedures
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information
