Certified Medical Assistant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Assistant to provide medication support and ensure effective communication between members, providers, and pharmacies.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison to troubleshoot prescription issues and communicate with pharmacies and medical staff
• Assist in medication reconciliation and ensure accurate records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
• Identify areas for improvement in medication support workflows and contribute to process enhancements

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a CMA or RMA, specifically in a MOUD or MAT program
• At least 2 years of telehealth experience, preferably in behavioral health or substance use treatment
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, medications, and healthcare practices
• Experience with EHR systems and pharmacy coordination
• Medical Assistant Certification recognized by a national organization
