Provider Support Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Provider Support Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Advocate for providers and ensure they are educated on health plan procedures and tools
• Assist providers in troubleshooting issues related to medical, mental health, oral health, and prescription drugs
• Provide feedback from providers to enhance tools and related projects within the health plan

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience in the health care industry required
• Experience or training with MS Office required
• Health plan experience strongly preferred, particularly in member services and provider relations
• Experience in training, education, referral authorization, provider maintenance, and/or claims processing is beneficial
