Key Responsibilities
- Prepares, submits, and reviews annual Medicare and Medicaid cost reports and regulatory filings
- Leads the cost report preparation process and serves as a resource for preparers
- Researches reimbursement and regulatory issues, providing analyses to stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance is required
- 3-5 years of experience in government reimbursement in a healthcare setting
- Preferred Master's degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance
- Preferred certifications include CPA, FHFMA, CNRA, or CRCR
- Ability to research reimbursement issues and provide practical solutions
