Reimbursement Specialist II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Reimbursement Specialist II to manage insurance claims and ensure appropriate reimbursement for healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure timely collection of outstanding Accounts Receivable and resolution of billing/claims issues
• Research and interpret complex information related to appeals and payor-specific billing policies
• Manage assigned accounts to ensure positive cash flow and compliance with insurance policies

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• 5+ years of healthcare experience or an Associate's Degree in a healthcare-related field with 3+ years' experience
• Extensive experience with appeals and insurance collection processes
• In-depth understanding of healthcare billing and coding
• Conversant with medical and billing terminology
• Computer and database management skills for managing electronic systems
