Release of Information Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Specialist II, Release of Information (ROI) Operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Process, log, and respond to inbound medical record requests from various requesters within required timeframes
• Review and validate request documents and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, HIPAA, and privacy laws
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and collaborate on special projects related to records management

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Release of Information or medical records management
• Health information management education and/or credentials are a plus
• Proficiency in navigating EMRs and other relevant systems
• Experience in mental/behavioral health and/or technology is a plus
• Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to a team environment
