Job Summary
A company is looking for a Remote Insurance Verification Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform eligibility verification and upload verification documents into the EHR System
- Verify insurance benefits through payer websites and direct calls to insurance companies
- Coordinate with providers to ensure all necessary insurance documentation is uploaded for accurate benefit checks
Required Qualifications
- Prior knowledge and experience with CPT and ICD-10 codes is strongly preferred
- 1 - 2 years' experience with medical insurance verification and authorization experience is a plus
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to read and interpret documents and medical records
