A company is looking for a Team Manager- Disability.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the investigation, management, and timely disposition of Disability claims while ensuring compliance with company policies
- Review and assign claims to examiners, balance workloads, and recommend improvements for productivity
- Provide coaching and training to staff on best practices, compliance standards, and system operations
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
- Five or more years of progressive experience as a Claim Examiner or equivalent
- Previous supervisory experience is desirable
- Thorough knowledge of insurance coverages and practices
- Industry designations preferred but not required (IIA, AIC, AEI, CPCU)
