Corporate Litigation Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Corporate Claim Litigation Counsel (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee first and third-party claims of heightened exposure, complex extra-contractual matters, bad faith, and other major litigation related to insurance claims
• Perform extra-contractual analysis based on factual and legal issues
• Provide advice to the Claims Organization on extra-contractual and bad faith issues, and recommendations for resolution

Required Qualifications

• At least 7 years of relevant substantive experience in a law firm or in-house legal department related to insurance defense work
• Experience managing or litigating bad faith or extra-contractual allegations
• Strong judgment
• Strong research and writing skills
• Eagerness to be involved in a dynamic company
