A company is looking for a Benefit Specialist to manage health and welfare benefits and provide HR support.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer benefit offerings and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Manage leave of absence policies and facilitate communication regarding workers' compensation claims
- Provide HR support by evaluating requests, performing audits, and assisting with process improvements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience in Human Resources
- Knowledge of ACA, ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, and FMLA regulations is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate integrity in handling sensitive information
