Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers, advocating for patient needs and providing education
- Handle inquiries regarding pharmacy benefits and assist with prior authorization requests and navigation support
- Review claims for accuracy, document interactions, and ensure compliance with operating and productivity standards
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field or equivalent work experience
- Proven experience in customer service or patient advocacy within a healthcare setting
- Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology, healthcare regulations, and insurance processes
- Proficient computer skills and ability to use electronic medical record systems
