Job Summary
A company is looking for a Coordinator, P2P Appeals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage denied inpatient referrals and schedule Peer to Peer calls with medical directors
- Document information from payer calls and enter account status into multiple databases
- Support various functions within the department, including case entry and appeals support
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Call center experience preferred
- Understanding of denials processes for Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial/Managed Care product lines is a plus
- Prior experience with hospital EMRs and Payer Portals preferred
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel, with accurate keyboard skills (minimum 30 wpm)
