Pre-Service IV Authorization Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Pre Service IV Auth Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete pre-registrations by verifying insurance information and validating referrals and prior authorizations
• Provide price estimates for healthcare services and secure financial resources for services rendered
• Communicate and resolve pre-service authorization denials with referring providers

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• One (1) year of post high school business or college coursework preferred
• National Association of Healthcare Access Management Certification preferred
• Minimum one (1) year experience in a customer service role preferred
• Proficiency in Medical Terminology by exam and one year of experience in a healthcare setting or relevant educational background
• AA Degree with six months of healthcare experience is acceptable
