Job Summary
A company is looking for a Self Pay Representative to manage patient account inquiries and secure payments on outstanding balances.
Key Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to patients regarding outstanding balances and payment options
- Educate patients on insurance responsibilities and financial assistance availability
- Document account information accurately in the EMR system
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Passing score and certificate from an approved language testing vendor
- Prior experience in collections, customer service, or call center is preferred
- Knowledge of general medical billing and insurance is preferred
- Ability to work Monday-Friday from 8:30 am to 5 pm MT
