A company is looking for a Senior Technical Support Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical direction and leadership in support and enhancement of products
- Assess customer needs, troubleshoot issues, and manage critical situations
- Mentor and train junior support engineers while contributing to internal projects
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in technical support or a similar role
- Deep technical knowledge of z/OS mainframes and related database/application platforms
- Experience with SQL, Data Virtualization, and operating systems such as Windows, Unix, and Linux
- Solid analytical and troubleshooting skills, particularly with IBM z/OS
- Availability for after-hours, weekend, and holiday work
