Key Responsibilities
- Support administration of special education and related programs in a remote learning environment
- Maintain databases and records, schedule meetings, and manage transfer records
- Ensure compliance with regulations and distribute necessary accommodations
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required
- A bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, ESL Education, Communications, or related fields is preferred
- Experience working with special education, 504, emergent bilingual, and gifted and talented programs
- Knowledge of relevant federal, state, and local laws regarding special programs
- Experience using computer-based programs is preferred
