A company is looking for a Call Center Collections Specialist who will provide phone service while collecting payments for medical expenses.
Key Responsibilities
- Place and receive calls to/from patients to collect payments and negotiate repayment terms
- Collect and document patient information, utilizing technology platforms to address inquiries
- Educate patients on the healthcare revenue cycle and follow compliance procedures
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED required
- 1+ year(s) of experience in a customer service capacity preferred
- 1+ year(s) of experience contributing to a team culture of learning and growth preferred
- Basic understanding of contact center processes and techniques preferred
- Exposure to collections industry and healthcare revenue cycle preferred
