Senior Actuarial Associate II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Actuarial Associate II to lead model validations and research actuarial issues in the life insurance sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently review and validate models, including documentation and risk evaluation
• Identify key issues and propose enhancements to model design and governance
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and support model governance functions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, computer science, finance, mathematics, or a related field
• Strong financial modeling background with advanced experience in Excel and VBA
• Experience with actuarial modeling software such as Prophet or similar
• Actuarial credentials highly desired
• Familiarity with VM-20 and pre-PBR life valuation guidance is a plus
