Senior Director of Commercial Operations

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Director of Commercial Operations - Gas Power Generation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead commercial activities for gas-fired assets, including PPAs and merchant sales
• Develop and implement market strategies to optimize plant revenue across ERCOT and PJM
• Build and lead a high-performance commercial team while fostering a collaborative culture

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in commercial operations or energy trading in the natural gas or power generation sectors
• Strong track record in negotiating and closing PPAs and tolling agreements
• In-depth knowledge of gas power plant operations and dispatch economics
• Experience in ERCOT and/or PJM markets is preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Business, or related field; advanced degree is a plus
