Senior Member Engagement Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr Specialist, Member Engagement (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Advocate for members to resolve issues and complaints related to Medicaid benefits
• Investigate and resolve access and cultural sensitivity issues, monitoring grievances to identify trends
• Provide training and educational materials to staff and assist members with disabilities regarding HMO participation

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience working with the Medicaid population in an HMO or MCO setting
• Experience working with disabled, underserved, and/or disadvantaged populations
• Graduate Degree in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field is preferred
• 5+ years of experience is preferred
