Senior Security Engineering Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Security Engineering Manager to lead its Security Engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of security engineers while setting the technical vision and executing the security strategy
• Detect and manage threats and risks across the infrastructure, products, and development lifecycle
• Partner with engineering teams to foster a culture of secure and rapid value delivery

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on security engineering experience, primarily in cloud-native environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• 3+ years of experience in people management, leading a high-performing security engineering team
• Proven track record of developing and executing a technical security roadmap
• Experience leading major security incidents, including detection, containment, and remediation
• Ability to effectively partner with senior engineering leaders to drive security initiatives
