Job Summary
A company is looking for a Software Project Manager to support the USAID-funded Famine Early Warning Systems Network (FEWS NET) project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage software development teams and processes, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to Agile methodologies
- Ensure continuous client satisfaction through feedback mechanisms, user acceptance testing, and performance monitoring
- Oversee help desk and user documentation processes, ensuring clarity and usefulness of materials
Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree with at least 6 years of relevant experience, or Bachelor's degree with at least 8 years of relevant experience
- Experience managing complex software development projects with front-end and back-end components, preferably using Django and/or React
- Proven expertise in Agile software development methodologies and project management practices
- Demonstrated ability to exercise sound technical judgment in complex software development environments
- Expert knowledge and/or certification in Scrum / Agile software development processes
