Subrogation Negotiator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Subrogation Negotiator.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a paperless healthcare subrogation case load through investigation, pending, and settlement stages
• Negotiate reimbursement of health plan liens on settlement proceeds and coordinate claim payments among health plans and responsible parties
• Conduct due diligence and research to assist with collections and preservation of lien rights

Required Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma with at least four years of experience in a legal environment, preferably with negotiation experience
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred
• Paralegal Certificate is preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and internet research skills
• Ability to work in a standard office environment and operate standard office equipment
