Job Summary
A company is looking for a Technical Support Engineer responsible for network architecture and providing technical leadership in network projects and support activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inquiries from employees and establish networking environments by designing system configurations and enforcing standards
- Maximize network performance through monitoring, troubleshooting, and collaborating on network optimization
- Secure network systems by establishing policies and reporting on network operational status
Required Qualifications and Education
- A.A., A.A.S., or higher college degree in a technical field
- 3 or more years of relevant job experience in a technical support role
- 3-5 years of experience in a network support role with knowledge of TCP/IP networking, routing, and switching
- Experience with network monitoring software and understanding of IP/Optical networks
- JNCIA or CCNA certification or equivalent skill level is preferred
