Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage a queue of Third-Party Liability accounts
- Contact patients to gather accident details and insurance information
- Submit hospital bills to insurance companies and maintain communication with adjusters and attorneys
Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum one-year experience in hospital revenue cycle processes preferred
- Knowledge of State and Federal regulations governing collection practices
- Intermediate knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Dependable, detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills
