Vice President of Coding

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Vice President, Coding.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee coding operations and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and coding standards
• Lead domestic and global coding teams, implementing strategies to improve coding accuracy and efficiency
• Monitor coding performance metrics and prepare reports for senior management

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred
• RHIA and CSS certification required; CPC or CPMA preferred
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in medical coding/HIM, with at least 10 years in leadership roles
• Proven experience in managing health system coding departments and operations
• Strong knowledge of coding regulations and revenue cycle management
