A company is looking for a Workers Compensation Claims Representative.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a queue of Workers' Compensation accounts and maintain quality and productivity levels
- Contact relevant parties to gather injury and insurance information, and submit claims to insurance carriers
- Provide customer service support, handle appeals for denied claims, and maintain accurate account documentation
Qualifications and Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED; some college coursework preferred
- 1-5 years of related experience in medical billing, claims adjudication, or workers' compensation
- Strong customer service background and a positive attitude
- Proficiency in data entry, MS Office applications, and navigating web-based applications
- Ability to manage a large workload with strong organizational and time management skills
