Key Responsibilities
- Process pharmacy prior authorization requests accurately and timely under supervision
- Communicate with healthcare professionals to resolve pharmacy-related issues and provide support
- Conduct telephonic outreach to members for preventive services and assist with scheduling and resources
Required Qualifications
- Pharmacy technician licensure in the state of practice
- Pharmacy technician certification required
- 3 or more years of experience in a pharmacy setting with managed care emphasis
- Knowledge of formulary and regulatory requirements
- Experience with medication management information systems preferred
