Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Financial Counselor, Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist patients and families with financial clearance, payment collection, and obtaining financial assistance
• Identify eligibility for various State and Federal sponsorship programs and provide education on these options
• Complete and submit applications for financial assistance programs

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Two or more years of experience in a hospital, clinic, or healthcare business office
• Minimum of three years of experience or proven success as a Patient Financial Advocate Associate
• Experience with automated, computerized account follow-up systems, preferably in Epic
