Care Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Care Specialist to manage non-clinical aspects of the Care Management process.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute member care plans and manage administrative support for the Care Management team
• Perform data entry and telephonic outreach for program enrollment and member support
• Coordinate with clinical staff and community resources to address members' needs

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's Degree required; Medical Assistant certification preferred
• 1 - 2+ years of client-facing or data entry experience in a healthcare environment
• Experience in a highly electronic environment with system user proficiency
• Knowledge of medical terminology and medical payment processes
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays
