Key Responsibilities
- Answer inbound and make outbound customer service calls while ensuring a positive patient experience
- Assist callers with their inquiries and facilitate issue resolution by referring to experts or escalating matters as needed
- Communicate effectively with other departments to manage patient accounts and perform various assigned duties
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 0-2 years of prior relevant experience
- Advanced computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology
- Basic math/bookkeeping skills
- Experience with payor-specific or medical specialty billing is a plus
