Job Summary
A company is looking for a Customer Service Representative who will assist healthcare providers, veterans, and beneficiaries with claims inquiries.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls and provide first call resolution for claims-related inquiries
- Research and evaluate medical claims for proper adjudication and document call activity
- Maintain knowledge of VA regulations and ensure all calls are resolved before the end of the shift
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- General office skills and knowledge of standard office equipment
- Working knowledge of software such as Excel and Word
- Data entry and 10 key experience necessary
- Preferred 1-2 years' experience in customer service and/or call center environment
