Job Summary

A company is looking for a Customer Service Specialist to manage patient interactions and ensure service quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer inbound and outbound calls, documenting all interactions according to standard procedures
  • Process orders, verify insurance information, and obtain necessary pre-authorizations
  • Educate patients on their financial responsibilities and facilitate resolution of customer complaints
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One (1) year of experience in healthcare administrative, financial, or insurance customer services
  • For senior level, two (2) years of work-related experience and one (1) year of exact job experience required
  • Experience in a Medicare certified environment is preferred
  • Proficiency in navigating online EMR systems and understanding insurance documentation requirements
