Job Summary

A company is looking for a Customer Service Specialist to provide support in a fast-paced environment for patients receiving home medical equipment services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer inbound and outbound calls while documenting information according to standard procedures
  • Process orders, verify insurance eligibility, and obtain necessary authorizations from insurance carriers
  • Educate patients on their financial responsibilities and facilitate resolution of customer complaints
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One year of work-related experience in healthcare administrative, financial, or insurance customer services
  • For senior level, two years of work-related experience and one year of exact job experience are required
  • Experience with Medicare certified processes is preferred
  • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office are necessary
