Job Summary

A company is looking for a Disability Benefits Examiner or Senior Disability Benefits Examiner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Investigate and analyze medical, occupational, and policy data to determine eligibility for disability benefits and communicate decisions
  • Develop and execute claim strategies to manage liability and ensure accurate benefit duration
  • Communicate claim information to stakeholders and resolve issues effectively
Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in disability benefits administration for Disability Benefits Examiner; 2-3 years for Senior level
  • Experience with state disability insurance claims is preferred
  • Familiarity with claim management systems and documentation standards is preferred
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
