Job Summary
A company is looking for a Disability Benefits Examiner or Senior Disability Benefits Examiner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate and analyze medical, occupational, and policy data to determine eligibility for disability benefits and communicate decisions
- Develop and execute claim strategies to manage liability and ensure accurate benefit duration
- Communicate claim information to stakeholders and resolve issues effectively
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience in disability benefits administration for Disability Benefits Examiner; 2-3 years for Senior level
- Experience with state disability insurance claims is preferred
- Familiarity with claim management systems and documentation standards is preferred
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
