Job Summary

A company is looking for a Forest Sector Finance Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a desk review of national policies and financial instruments related to forests and agriculture
• Map stakeholders and assess barriers to financial access for smallholders and communities
• Provide recommendations and develop an operational roadmap for financial access solutions under the NPFP

Required Qualifications

• University Degree in Economics, Finance, Public Policy, Rural Development, Environmental Management, Forest Engineering, or a related field
• At least 6 years of relevant professional experience in rural financial inclusion or financial services for smallholders
• Working knowledge of Portuguese and English
• National of Brazil or resident with a valid work permit
• Experience in financial analysis of investment projects in the agricultural sector is preferred
