Job Summary
A company is looking for a Group Travel Specialist responsible for managing group travel arrangements and event planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage event site selection, contract negotiations, and oversee all aspects of group reservations for 10 or more travelers
- Coordinate with clients and suppliers to establish timelines, monitor expenses, and ensure a seamless event experience
- Service inbound group travel requests, issue tickets, and manage all necessary documentation and communication with clients
Required Qualifications
- 5-7 years of domestic and international meeting planning experience
- Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent industry education
- Experience in contract negotiation for meeting services with hotels and airlines
- On-site event management experience and knowledge of hospitality industry standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with event registration platforms
