A company is looking for a Payroll Expert in Iceland.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and select software for payroll execution, ensuring compliance with Deel product technology requirements
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll execution in the region and prepare internal payroll reports for compliance
- Act as a subject matter expert on local payroll and HR matters, answering complex queries from employees and clients
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field from an accredited institution
- 5+ years of payroll and HR experience in the relevant country
- Strong knowledge of local payroll regulations and policies
- Advanced knowledge of local payroll software solutions
- Experience with managing technology and external payroll providers is an advantage
