Job Summary
A company is looking for an IP Optical Sales Engineer to support its expansion in the IP Optical market space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead pre-sales activities, including network design, architecture development, and solution delivery for service providers
- Act as a subject matter expert in IP/MPLS, packet transport, and optical networking, assisting customers in understanding solutions
- Develop network solutions and strategies using Ribbon's and third-party products to meet customer requirements
Required Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a related field
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- Proven experience in Sales Engineering or Product Line Management within the Telecom industry
- Strong pre-sales experience in L1-L3 Network Engineering, focusing on Telecommunications
- Expertise in IP/MPLS network protocols, including IPv4/IPv6, OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, and others
