Key Responsibilities
- Handle all inbound customer inquiries and provide timely resolutions
- Document all contacts and actions taken within the patient accounting system
- Communicate with various staff to clarify customer service inquiries and assist in departmental functions
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or business administration preferred
- At least one year of experience in a healthcare environment with customer service or financial counseling
- Knowledge of insurance, governmental programs, and billing processes
- Data entry skills with 50-60 keystrokes per minute
- Demonstrated call center experience preferred
