Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Financial Services Representative.

Key Responsibilities

• Process payments, adjustments, claims, and correspondence accurately and timely
• Reconcile and pursue account balances and payments, working with payor remits and facility contracts
• Research payments and denials to identify discrepancies and make necessary corrections

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge
• Minimum of 1 year experience in Medical Insurance Accounts Receivable
• Minimum of 1 year experience with Explanation of Benefits (EOB) and posting errors
• Intermediate to Advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of patient financial services and insurance industry processes
