A company is looking for a Medical Necessity Specialist - Medi Medi.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, send out, and obtain medical necessity documentation in a timely manner
- Maintain and update medical necessity information in the system to support the billing process
- Communicate with healthcare providers and manage documentation for patient equipment continuity
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- Experience with a Medical Supply Company
- Knowledge of diagnosis and medical terminology
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Experience in the healthcare, medical, and/or HME industry is preferred
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
