Job Summary
A company is looking for a Mortgage Closing Specialist I.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and verify information for loan submissions and Closing Disclosure (CD) Issuance
- Maintain communication with all parties involved in the closing process to ensure a seamless experience
- Review loan files for compliance with State and Federal guidelines and manage documentation for closing
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- Associates degree plus a minimum of 1 year of prior business experience or 1 year of combined closing and customer service experience
- In lieu of a degree, a combined 3 years of higher education and/or work experience is acceptable
- Strong PC skills with knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing, and email software
- Ability to adapt to new policies and procedures in a fast-paced mortgage environment
- Ability to function within time constraints
