Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mortgage Loan Officer for remote roles in VA, MD, NC, and DC.

Key Responsibilities

• Originates and completes mortgage loan applications, ensuring all required fields are filled
• Determines proper program placement of loan files and prices loans according to company policy
• Maintains communication with clients throughout the loan process and tracks the progress of all loans in the pipeline

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mortgage Loan Officer or equivalent industry experience
• NMLS registration is required
• Strong familiarity with standard loan products and underwriting guidelines
• Ability to generate independent leads for new business
• Experience in maintaining professional relationships with clients and referral sources
