Job Summary
A company is looking for an Eligibility Worker (Call Center).
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service and support for various Economic Assistance programs
- Assess client needs and provide information and referrals to community resources
- Determine eligibility and authorize benefits while maintaining knowledge of relevant policies and procedures
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- One year of work experience in determining eligibility for human services economic assistance programs or completion of a two-year associate degree program
- Completion of a one-year eligibility worker certificate program or 90 semester hours of a bachelor's degree program
- High school diploma or GED with three years of relevant work experience in claims processing or related fields
- Three years of any combination of education and experience related to the position
- Successful completion of an FBI criminal history record check and fingerprinting
