A company is looking for a Patient Access & Support Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
- Front patient calls for nurse triage and identify conditions needing urgent intervention
- Register new patients and manage appointment scheduling for primary and specialty care facilities
- Coordinate communications between medical professionals to ensure timely patient care
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- High School degree or GED required
- One (1) year of customer service experience with a Bachelor's degree, three (3) years with an Associate's degree, or five (5) years with a High School degree, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs and strong technology skills
- Must gain knowledge of the healthcare system and medical terminology during training
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining organizational skills
